Who's ready for more Summers family weirdness?
On this episode of X-Lapsed, we join Cyclops, Prestige, and Cable as they investigate a new island that just appeared on the horizon... we also get to see a kink... err, softer side of Krakoa. X-Men (vol.5) #2 comes to us from Jonathan Hickman and Leinil Francis Yu, and was certainly not what I expected!
Some insightful (?) comics chat with a side of wonderful listener mail is waiting for you!

I've definitely got less to say as we move on. This issue is really just set up for X of Swords. The whole Summoner stuff lost me. Why should I care who this is? The whole reuniting islands couldn't feel significant as we had only a few weeks to process the split which was a tiny element of a previous story.
ReplyDeleteThe thing most jarring to me was the Rachel/Cable relationship. Surely there should be acknowledgement that Baby Cable was part raised by an older Rachel and that young Rachel knew a much older Cable.
By the way I have been reading X of Swords as Cross of Swords implying a battle, but I have no idea what the intention is. I doubt it's a 10, but you never know.
Just read the first issue of X of Swords. It is 10. According to the story it's a Tarot card. Apparently anything I say is as likely to be true as your guesses.
