Wrapping up the Dawn of X Wave One #3’s, with an extended fight scene in Fallen Angels. Not much to say about this one… but plenty to say about other stuff, so please listen anyway!
Also: Some excellent listener mail, and I complain about half-hearted Wikis, discuss a bit more of the Chuck Austen run, and continue to whinge about the overreliance on power damp(en)ing devices in these here X-Books!

I swear if I met Bryan Hill he would tell me that he writes comics but really he's a poet.
I really question the point of this series. As you say they keep repeating the same few plot points. At the end of issue 3 we're back at the first panel of issue 1.
The art is improving. It feels less generic. And the cover to issue 3 is amazing.
I worry that by the end of this series we'll think it could have been one issue of Giant Sized X-Men instead of 6 issues.
As for the issue 3s I have real difficulty ranking them. Marauders is definitely the best, followed by X-Force, and Fallen Angels is the worst but the rest all falls into a blur of averageness.
I remember you saying way back when you hit the midpoint of HOXPOX that you were afraid it was going to hit that part 4 of 6 wall where the story treads water. I feel like we're in that zone now.
