Hellions is a weird comic. It includes many elements that I would say I hate like ultraviolence and a flippant attitude to that violence but I love it. Wells has set the humour at just the right level and the violence makes sense considering the characters involved. It probably helps that it draws so heavily on my favourite era of the X-books (Mutant Massacre to Inferno). It really is a joyous book.
