If you answered “yes” to any of these questions – well, then I’ve got an issue for you. Not much “meat” on the preverbal bone here, but a scene in this issue does facilitate my revisiting a well-worn X-Lapsed topic regarding altering mutants during the resurrection process (and otherwise).

I feel like the 3 part Carnelia story would have worked better as a 2 parter followed by a (so-called) Lobdell quiet issue. It seems an odd pacing choice to drag an extra cliffhanger out of the story when it can be so quickly resolved.
Having said that I loved this issue because most of the focus was on quiet character moments. Obviously I still hate how Boom Boom is portrayed but all the other characters feel right. Dani's moral certainty is a large part of the narrative backdrop to the Claremont run on New Mutants and I hope her being against mind manipulation leads to her rebelling against Xavier.
I continue to like the idea of Glob Herman as the homemaker of the sextant. He is one of those characters who I've really warmed to over the years but he isn't very good as a superhero so it's nice to see a role that keeps him in the book.
You seem really keen on seeing a resolution to the Dox plot. I am quite fearful about it as I think it's a possible minefield. We have seen a tendency towards the lowest common denominator with villains and I imagine some very unsubtle depiction of a reactionary internet troll.
