Today we usher in the double-digits era for our Wave One Dawn of X books… starting with Marauders! This is also a notable issue for being the first DoX book to hit the shelves after the current pandemic set in. Can it possibly live up to the x-pectations of the starving X-Fandom? Well… I suppose your mileage may vary.

I have reread Marauders 6-12 a number of times and really enjoy the story. Within that ongoing story issue 10 works very well but by itself it's slightly lacking. There is an element of padding in here that makes me wonder if Duggan was made to extend his story by one issue to plug the gap until Ecchs of Tens.
Interesting to hear you comment about the reading order in your copy. I buy new comics digitally and my issue has the correct reading order. They must have printed your one before the shutdown and corrected the digital edition. I'm really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the next 2 issues of Marauders as I loved them.
