Whattaya get when you cross an X-Men comic with a sub-par D&D campaign? Uh, don’t answer that.
Today we’re discussing the second issue of Excalibur by Tini Howard and Marcus To… and, well… by no fault of the creators, this really isn’t the sort of story that falls in your humble host’s wheelhouse. Maybe I can be proven wrong… then again, maybe not.

This episode I mainly found myself laughing along at your reactions to my comments. My reactions sound much funnier in your hands. It's interesting to hear that you see Americans stereotyped as cowboys. I don't know if that's better than deciding an entire country is full of magic.
Apocalypse remains interesting. He's a really great character to bring into an X-Men team as he always thinks he's the good guy so from his point of view he's not changed.
At some point I will take your advice and work my way through your backlog. There's something great about how particular comics remind you of your own history. It's probably no surprise that different fans have different ideas of the characters based on when they discovered them. As they say, the golden age of comics is 12 (1986 for me).
