At least Babs and the GCPD had color TVs to watch the hearing, instead of black and white.
I like the Dick and Tim team. They have such a big and little brother vibe to them. I wish they actually did more together.
Firefly burning down a section of Gotham that had already been abandoned just adds to the incompetence of all of Nick Scratch’s goons. None of his plans have been executed correctly. It is almost comical by this point. And we still have no idea as to why he is doing any of this.
The only reason I can imagine for why the Road to No Man’s Land was 3 months long is that they must have needed those three months to get all the writers and artists in place to begin No Man’s Land proper. For me it would have made more sense to start No Man’s Land with this issue, Detective Comics 727, being that it is a Batman Anniversary issue. Even I could write the marketing for ‘Tec 727 being the start of a new Batman era or the end of Gotham as you knew it. Once again DC editorial drops the ball iches from the goal.
Chris U. I think you’re right on the money with them just needing those 3 monhts to get all the writers and artists in place for NML, since I also think the road to NML didn’t need to be 3 months long. Ah, the life of an editor!
Also, yeah, they dropped that 727 anniversary issue/marketing ball, definitely.
