It took us awhile… but we’re finally back in Azrael-land! Today, our man in the headsock stows away on Nick Scratch’s WWII tugboat in order to enter No Man’s Land. Along the way, he befriends an old lady who is searching for her runaway daughter… and, hoo boy, their reunion is one you don’t want to miss!
Plus: A rather deep NMaiLbag… which, err, gets kind of dark.

I hope that they got the desired sales bump by putting the No Man’s Land trade dress on this issue. This adds nothing to the No Man’s Land story and only continues to beat the dead horse of Nicholas Scratch. Maybe we can finally get his motivation for wanting Gotham turned into a No Man’s Land now that he is there.
You mentioned the bizarre shift in dynamics between the mother and daughter, but the No Man’s Landers that attacked Scratch had just as bizarre a turn in motivation. It seems that every normal person in this issue is kind of two faced. Strange that Azrael is the most normal person in this story.
