Remember that story in X-Men #12 that we hated? Y’all wanna read it again? Well – we’re gonna! I wish I was joking.
Today’s episode discusses a chapter of #EcksofTens comprised almost entirely of art we already saw and paid for just a month or two earlier. It’s the Creepy Summoner’s History of Arrako… with a Genesis twist.
As always, there’s great listener mail to help lighten the mood!

The advantage I had over you when I first read this issue is that I had not bought X-Men 12. I first read this material in this comic and when I finally read the original version I read it on Marvel Unlimited so I only ever paid for it once.
Read in isolation this issue works quite well as it makes the relationship between Apocalypse and Genesis seem genuine. This is mostly down to the body language in the art. The actual conversation is less convincing. Still I enjoyed it.
Of course once you know that Marvel intended to sell the same pages to us twice with very few changes then I find myself getting angry at their greed.
Anyway until I try sending you the same feedback message twice, Make Mine X-Lapsed!
